COM212 Project

The specifications for the project are here.

Although not stated in the specifications, we need to be able to save the data, shut down the system, and start it up again with all the data in the correct place.

In addition to the program, we need a very short users' manual that describes how to do each of the required functions; one sentence for each is sufficient. Title it with the name of the class that contains the main function and include your names and the directory path of your program. This is the only printout that you are required to turn in. It is due at the time of the presentation.

Presentations for the projects will be in class on 7 May. All members of all project teams are expected to be in attendance and speak during their team's presentation. The program needs to be fully operational at this time. The final program (with proper documentation) must be complete by the end of the finals period. You are to submit the files needed for your program before this time.

I suggest that you divide the labor and coordinate a means to put your individual labors together. I highly recommend that you start today and meet often to discuss how to solve this problem. If done correctly, it should not be that difficult, but it is important that you think of a good way to do it from the start.
